Muddy Paws Rescue

Muddy Paws Rescue is a foster-based organization supported by more than 1,500 dedicated foster homes. They partner with shelters in Kentucky, Georgia, and Texas to place dogs in nurturing environments where they can safely adjust to city life. Thanks to their strong foster network, they’re also able to take in harder-to-place dogs such as large breeds, seniors, and special medical cases who would struggle to thrive in a traditional shelter setting.

Our Best Friend's Rescue is a foster-based, all-breed rescue devoted to giving unwanted dogs — including those with special needs or in hospice care — a loving, family environment until a permanent home is found. Every dog is fully vetted and cared for as part of the family. Operating solely on donations and adoption fees, Our Best Friend's Rescue is passionate about thoughtful matchmaking to ensure lasting, happy placements. This is also the rescue that took in Winston when he was 10 months old until he was matched with his forever human.
